Fall FULL family photos 🍁
I love family sessions, especially when the love goes above and beyond. Even though you’re grown, your mom still wants updated photos - guaranteed. She also absolutely wants photos with her one grandbaby. Make it an extended family photo shoot!
I spent quite a bit of time with these two this fall! We squeezed an engagement shoot, a wedding, and a little personal shoot all within a months time. And each and every time I fell more in love with them. :) I love their adventurous, outdoorsy spirits - and have gratitude for an excuse to take a little day trip up to the Duluth area to snag these wonderful engagement shots. 🍂
All boys representing the senior class of 2021 this year (at least in my little photography-world!). And boy do they have some style and class. 😎
This family is absolutely one of my favorites (am I allowed to have favorites??).
When we did this session at the end of the summer they were patiently awaiting the arrival of two (!!) babies. They have so much love and I know it’s only growing exponentially. (Spoiler alert - this mama is a SUPERHERO and she ended up carrying both babies full term and delivered ON their due date 😱)
This lil gal turned one last month! I’ve been jealous of people blessed with curls since I was a little girl - and this bright-eyed babe is no exception. What. A. Cutie.
Headshots - seemingly simple, maybe even boring. But here’s the trick, here’s the secret: NOTHING has to be boring. Make fun and take enjoyment from everything in life.
Back again with my favorite - Yess Yoga Studio. Another round of folks successfully completed their yoga teacher training, courtesy of Lucia. Each one of them unique and a joy to photograph. I will photograph passions and craft til the day I die, and I will never tire of it. Play, create, turn everything into magic!
Kids all grown? GREAT! Let’s document it! No need to stop doing family photos once the kids are out of the house. Everyone is constantly growing and changing, it’s a wonderful thing.

I’m petitioning for this baby to hold a TED talk to all other babies - on how to act in front of a camera. She was the cutest, the smiliest, the flirtiest little gal, she made my job a breeze! And mom had some pretty great styling to put the cherry on top of an amazing one year session. :)
One of my favorite little family's back again! I love doing photos regularly with these friends of mine, and I'm happy to be here to witness first hand as they grow into a family of 4. Baby boy due early June and we can't wait to meet him. :)

I've been lucky enough to know the owner, Lucia, for many years. She treats everyone like family, and the whole studio has a beautiful community-centric mindset.
Every so often she hosts teacher training workshops and I get the opportunity to come in and work with her and her students, showcasing their abilities and what they've learned. Working with other small businesses gives me such pride in the Minneapolis community - I feel so humbled to work alongside so many wonderful creatives and uniquely talented folks!
Doing my friend's senior photos while just out of high school is what really got my photography career started. I've always found it fun to do these kinds of portraits, one on one, wandering around finding unique-looking backgrounds. It's a nice chill session to do amidst all the craziness of wedding season and wrangling kids for family pictures! And every once in a while you luck out and get a modelesque young lady to work with like this one. :)
I love doing portraits for lil ones because they do their thing and I just get to capture it. No worries of posing or arranging things a certain way, just let them be themselves and the cuteness takes care of all the rest. :)
